Architect Cecilia Garza-Treviño, a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin obtained a Degree of Master of Architecture with studies in: Design, Urban Landscape and Community and Regional Planning.
Her internship participation in the Austin Tomorrow: a Comprehensive Master Plan with City Planner Dick Lilly, grants her the experience of the multidisciplinary interaction required for a realistic community planning.
Her Degree of Bachelor of Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico; a 5 year schooling Renaissance style of Master Builder program; provides her with solid construction details, systems and techniques expertise
.
Her studies abroad among others in Greece, Italy and Spain --her ancestry;
on the subjects of History of Art and Archeological Architecture, adds an insightful perspective to her profession.
Her professional practice over 45 years, extends to Austin, Belton, Manor, Galveston, South Padre Island and Lajitas in Texas, U.S.; earning a School Design Award in 2000 and the AIA Austin Home Tours selecction in 2003. She has engaged as a Designer and Manager in projects for the State of Texas, the County of Travis, the City of Austin and the Belton Independent School District.
Some of her writings: Cafe Philos -Le Deux Magots, was published in The Economist and the Welsh School of Architecture Magazine.
